We then tiled entire roof area in new Ludlow tiles (old English in colour), cutting in at hip sections and around existing chimney stack. Next, we installed new leadwork to chimney stack, tagging in place and pointing in a sand/cement compound. Finally, we installed new Marley ridge system (old English to match ’tiled roofing’) to both hips and roof apex, bedding and pointing in place on a sand/cement compound coloured with red dye to match new ’tiled roofing’ and ridge.
